Privacy Policy

• Discord account details. When you sign in with Discord we receive your Discord user ID, username, and avatar. We do not request or receive your email address or your Discord password. We also check your role membership in the How To ERLC Discord server to grant staff access where relevant.
• Content you submit. Your public profile (display name, bio, skills, servers, links), marketplace listings, directory listings, community submissions, votes, reviews, and reports are stored so we can display and moderate them.
• Cookies and sessions. We use session cookies to keep you signed in, plus small functional cookies for things like access during maintenance. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
• Automatic logs and analytics. We collect anonymized page analytics: the page visited, referrer site, country, and device type. IP addresses in analytics are one-way hashed, not stored in readable form. Staff area access is logged (user, action, route, and IP address) for security auditing.

• To run your account and keep you signed in.
• To display your listings, profile, and other content you choose to publish.
• To moderate submissions and keep the platform safe.
• To showcase approved listings in the How To ERLC Discord server through our bot, and to send you a Discord direct message when your submission is approved or denied.
• To understand overall site usage through anonymized analytics.
• To secure the staff area through audit logging.

• Hosting and infrastructure providers that run the website and database on our behalf.
• We never sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Account data and content stay for as long as your account and listings exist. If you delete your account or content, we remove it from the live site; residual copies in backups and security logs expire on a rolling basis. Anonymized analytics are kept in aggregate.

You can edit or delete your profile and listings at any time from your dashboard. You can request deletion of your account and associated data, or a copy of the data we hold about you, by contacting us through the How To ERLC Discord server, our official contact channel. We will act on verified requests within a reasonable time.

How To ERLC requires a Discord account, so you must meet Discord's minimum age: at least 13, or higher where your local law requires it. We do not knowingly collect data from children below that age; if we learn we have, we will delete it.

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will update the date at the top and announce it in our Discord server. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
